Rohit lead the Project Excellence Center at India's largest private sector company. At the prime of my youth, I fought a war in the Himalayas witnessing mindless destruction imposed by two impoverished countries on each other. I struggled with the extreme forms of patriotism that needed me to numb my innate sense of humanism. Yet, I 'walked the talk' and 'led by example' - doing exactly what a young Army Officer with brass on the shoulders is meant to do. After a mid-career change, I found myself helping customers through fulfillment of contractual obligations in the IT Services industry. When done well, this is called Delivery Excellence - otherwise it's soulless cousin; Project Management. Hiring, nurturing, motivating people and building high performance teams and connecting with organization leaders, come to me naturally. My current assignment is to lead a group change leaders, evangelize consistent delivery of IT projects and drive Agile values & behaviors in line with waves of Digital Transformation in the group. The message is clear - deliver what is needed and yet delight customers - because that is the difference WE make. Outside of work, I blissfully marvel at the great cosmic symphony of which my unique individual life's melody is only a drop. I find deep, indescribable solace in meditation, study of Vedanta, Buddhist doctrines and the practice of Yoga.

An Ingenious Transformer - Guiding Individuals and Businesses to Understand and Organize the Chaos of Change in their lives through the science of NeuroSociology. Coach to Executives, Portfolio/Program/Project Mgrs, Business Analysts, & Social Innovators Given the accelerated pace of technology introduction, adoption, and social change fewer than 2% of individuals or businesses recognize and cope with the perceived chaos associated with change. Successful change adoption (technology, process, people) requires an approach with a well-developed reason (the Purpose or Why?). Only situationally diverse human skills affect sustainable change. Projects are unique endeavors to deliver products, services or process change. They require a specialized blend of perceptive leadership and experience based technique. 20th Century business strategies and tactics no longer compete. Humans are neurologically and socially opposed to change. We adapt to survive. Habituation and tribal behaviors offer the evolutionary advantage. Reinforced creativity… and more importantly thoughtful choice. On all the planet only one species uses choice to control and adapt (self, others, the environment). If you make the correct choices. Mentoring and guidance are required to reach the pinnacle – THRIVING. Given the pace of change, reaction is the trend … and reaction leads only to survival. You no longer have 10,000 hours to acquire the skills. Technology offers those who understand the human process and filtered choice success. Steve goal: guidance for a rapidly changing world. Mentoring, project and program development, leadership consulting, key note presentations, and technology evaluation … all based on unique insights developed through successful technology innovation, neurosociology research, and project/program course creation and enhancement. Specialty: Coaching through Change Scenarios
