PMI South Africa Chapter is an entirely volunteer-managed, non-profit organization dedicated to serving our local membership and promoting and advancing the field of project management and related professions.

Our primary objective is to support the professional growth of our members, corporate organizations, and communities, fostering professionalism in project management. We were incorporated as a Non-Profit Company on December 6, 2001, under the Companies Act, Act 71 of 2008 and Companies Amendment Act, Act 3 of 2011, with the registration number 2001/029270/08. A Memorandum of Incorporation, registered by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Act, outlines our core principles.

Board of Directors: The governance of PMI South Africa is entrusted to a Board consisting of a President and Vice Presidents, who are elected by the members and serve two-year terms. The Board's collective wisdom, experience, diversity, and passion drive our core ideology, purpose, and values—the enduring principles that guide us and define our significance. The South Africa Board, along with our dedicated volunteers, ensures our vitality and relevance.
