Nirvanna Rampersad born in Durban completed her BSc Chemical Engineering at the University of Natal in 1999. She has worked in the Petrochemical, Specialty Chemicals, Consulting and in the Mining industries. Operational and Project roles spanned the fields of Process Engineering, Process Plant Redesign and Optimisation, Project Financial Modelling, Business Model Implementation and Business and Project Assurance. Nirvanna is Pr. Eng since 2005 and a PMP since 2014. She also serves on the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), is Vice-Chair of the South African Institution of Chemical Engineers (SAIChE) Gauteng Branch and a SAIChE Council member. Nirvanna was first appointed to the Board of Directors of the South Africa Chapter in 2017, while maintaining her role as VP Professional Development since 2016.
